Hans Wolff Hans Wolff was born and raised in Zwolle. Currently he lives in the Pearl of Drenthe, Havelte. A rural and inspiring surrounding for flower painting. From the age of nine he went with his grandfather to the art club "Pallet" and was educated how to use charcoal, pencil, brush and knife to get his impressions on paper or other materials. However where his grandfather and father had a clear preference for oil colours and acryl, Hans chose for watercolour and watercolour techniques. In the course of the years he developed his own style clearly recognized by them who have seen his work before. He considers watercolour painting as a relaxing but also exciting activity. Exciting because the game with water and colours is not always predictable. Relaxing because it needs a high concentration and creates balance in mind and body.
