The Painter About The Paintings I paint flowers, flowers and again flowers, No portraits, landscapes or stills. But flowers………Why?? I like to spend a lot of time in nature, have green fingers and……..yes, flowers make me feel happy with their colours and showing of their immodest beauty and splendour. On top of that flowers help us people to express our emotions. feelings of sadness, joy, love, friendship, as in a old saying in Holland "say it with flowers". I also have that same feeling when I stand in front of that big white sheet of paper. It is not only the shape or impression but also the emotion. Every flower has its own story and give its own special feeling. And put on paper that image is less tied to time than in nature. Now and then that feeling is so strong that I also try to catch it in a few words.
